If you choose to join a Team on our website and the Deal goes through to completion, then only our servers have your full information, and then we pass your key details to the wining Supplier so that they can fulfil the service or send you the product Suppliers don’t see any identifiable details of your company until they are awarded the deal. Further no other Buyer (i.e your potential competition in a market) can see or access your buying behaviours and the Teams you have joined or the volume you have put through The Buyers Network platform.
As a supplier and in general, no website visitor is able to view or know of your involvement in Teams and Deals. Your transaction volume, the price you bid or any other data is all held confidentially by us. We may however, ask if you would like to be listed as one of our happy suppliers, by allowing us to place your logo on our website. Or we may request your approval to be included in various Press Releases or Media
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. The Gravatar service is a part of the WordPress system, and you having a Gravatar Account is not necessary to conduct business on The Buyers Network.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Your data is held securely in our Tier 1 Data Centre. It is only used by us internally for statistics and planning. And only shared externally with a winning bidder on a Team/Deal so that they can fulfil the order for you.
